My Utopia — A perfect imaginary world!!
Have you ever wondered about what makes the world a wonderful place for us to live in? Its imperfect nature. Though that is the reality, we would have imagined our own way of having things differently, which contradicts reality. I did, and I do now too!
“Everything starts within” is an age-old saying, and it’s true. In my utopia, the world will be a place where every human being is revered and loved regardless of race, color, sex, education, etc. Imposing equality among unequal beings will make our society a better place for future generations. In my picture-perfect place of utopian imagery, we can walk around at any time with no fear-mongering thoughts within us — fear of being lost, fear of being hit, being of being abducted, fear of being in the dark. All we can see is a safe place where peace and happiness can be sought.
A world starved of greed, injustice, hunger, violence, where love and laughter are strewn all around like a pleasant fragrance, is how my perfect society looks. Every single person is educated and is contributing to the upliftment of their own selves and the community. A technologically, emotionally evolved society without wrecking nature and its beauty is all I can think of — the places filled with trees and plants, chirping birds, and wandering animals. We can walk amidst a vast forest with river gushing, leaves rustling, enjoying the beauty at its best. Nature always gives the best examples of life lessons. We just have to open our eyes and look for it. Once we delve into that feeling, it all leads to a perfectly twined society.
The basis of my utterly perfect society will be everything for everyone where the privileges and responsibilities are equally assigned to individuals. Everyone will be born neither rich nor poor with the reserves and opportunities presented equally, and they will work relentlessly with the available resources to develop in their society. There should be an ideal ethical code for everyone to follow without breaking it. Eventually, we all are human beings, as the saying is true, “To err is to Human.” So, if someone breaks the code we have, there should be instantaneous trials to listen to the situation and decide reprimands accordingly.
My utopia is not about having everything perfect. It is about having tiny imperfections that do not affect the co-existence of other people. Our heart always looks for perfection in this imperfect world, hoping that it would make society a better and happier place. But you know what makes the world a better place — Finding beauty in the flaws and contributing to creating a better environment for our future generations.
Many projects, which were once a utopia, are a reality now. I am hoping that most of my utopia becomes a reality someday. And for that to become a reality, the changes should start from ourselves. The path to a better future and society is to take massive and determined actions. We can only know what we can imagine and ultimately, what we see evolves from our mind. Each of us will be the creator of our utopia, so let us give life to our utopias whenever and wherever we can!!
